Steps

  1. 01

    Slot 4 stretcher bars together for each frame; glue the corners and clamp square overnight.

  2. 02

    Reinforce each corner on the back with a small L-bracket.

  3. 03

    Sand and seal both frames with varnish (2 coats).

  4. 04

    Stretch and staple window screen tight across one frame.

  5. 05

    Leave the other empty as the deckle.
