Simmer avocado pits in water and out comes a soft pink dye-ink.

- ▸Crush them first to release more color, faster.
- ▸Color deepens with longer simmering.
Steps

Simmer chopped pits in water 1 hour — liquid turns peachy-pink.

Strain and reduce until concentrated.

Add a pinch of salt to preserve.
