Indigo Paint Cake

True blue from fermented leaves, dried into a cake.

Grind dried indigo cake, mix with gum arabic and water.

Steps

  1. 01

    Let indigo paste settle and dry completely on a plate.

  2. 02

    Grind dry indigo to fine powder.

  3. 03

    Mull with water on a tile to a smooth paste.

  4. 04

    Add gum arabic + honey binder gradually until creamy.

  5. 05

    Spoon into a pan and let dry.
